Their bray, big ears and their curiosity are used to getting our attention and giving smiles.
Involved in activities, mediated by qualified operators, they become “transducers” of emotions reworking the men’s.
This activity is addressed to those who want to dedicate their time to the knowledge of donkeys and how to take care of them. It takes place inside and outside the enclosures.

Riding a donkey in the olive grove

You will take part in the olive crop (October – November) equipped with baskets and sticks, enjoying Clara’s, Olivia’s, Vittoria’s, Alberto’s and little Nina’s company, just how people formerly used to do.
You will spend all day long immersed in the ancient olive groves in one of the most beautiful areas of Puglia (Torre Guaceto).Once in the age-old olive grove, taken by Ferruccio and our donkeys, you will be told about the variety of our olives and the manual harvesting process (to which you can participate) until the cold pressing of our “Uelli” extra virgin olive oil.

Tour in Calessino

An unusual way to visit Carovigno and Ostuni and their countryside, on board a vintage Ape Calessino.
Taken by Ferruccio you can visit the historic centres of Carovigno and Ostuni with their narrow streets full of stories and legends, go past Punta Penna Grossa, the white sandy beach of the Reserve or simply know the countryside in a nice and original way.

Cycling among the ancient olive trees

Cycling among the ancient olive trees is an experience that gratifies both your eyes and your spirit. In addition to the physical benefits, you will find contact not only with nature but, between a laughter and another one, with your fellow adventurers as well.
You will be offered, also by local operators, cycle tours, suitable for everyone, with the opportunity to taste a meal or a snack with selected produce of our farm.
The bike ride will be the occasion for a photographic reportage or to know stories and traditions of the peasant culture linked to the production of oil, symbol of Puglia above all others.
Departure: from Le Terrazze di Serranova and, depending on the itinerary agreed upon, you can go as far as the Mediterranean scrub and the dunes of Torre Guaceto nature reserve.

For those who feel the call of the sea, Maria and Ferruccio are used to organizing excursions of variable duration for small groups, so giving you the possibility to experience a period of navigation in total relaxation and tranquillity.
The presence of an expert skipper guarantees safety on board and allows several stops during the trip in order to enjoy diving or bathing.
A light meal with the selected produce of the farm is always possible on board.
The navigation along the coast allows you to be rocked by the waves while admiring, from a privileged point of view, the beauties of the Salento area, certainly one of the most beautiful Italian coasts.

Yoga, the trip on holiday

In the shade of centuries old olive trees

October and November are the months of olive crop and oil production. If you want to immerse yourself in the ancient farming traditions, this is the most ideal experience to gain in.
You will spend a whole day in the shade of ancient olive trees in one of the most beautiful areas of Puglia (Torre Guaceto). You will reach the olive grove with our Ferruccio who will tell you the variety of our olives and all the processes involved from the manual crop up to the pressing and then to the exclusively-cold extraction of our “Uelli” extra virgin olive oil.
The bravest guests will awake at sunrise, and equipped with sticks and baskets, will take part in the harvest.

Cooking workshops
“There is not one thing more interesting to know a place, that to do it through his dishes, knowing the products, their preparation and the tied up traditions to every dish”.
In our Masseria we organize handicraft laboratories of kitchen to learn apulia’s typical dishes, as like meatballs, “cartellate”, “pulaneti”, “frise”, “buccunotti”, “tarallini”, the biscuits with egg, preparations all revisit ones, to appreciate perfume, taste and lightness.
At the end of the lesson, the prepared dishes will be tasted.
